彫刻から事業へ、
そして再び制作へ。From sculpture to business,
and back to making.
1986年北海道生まれ。京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科彫刻専攻を修了。Royal College of Art（ロンドン）に交換留学修了。「不在であったものが、感覚として顕現する瞬間」をつくることを制作の核としている。
その後、法人を立ち上げ、経営・デジタルメディア・販売など複数の事業基盤の構築に取り組む。現在は、作家活動そのものも事業として位置づけ、継続的に制作・発表を行っている。
Born in Hokkaido in 1986. Kanako Saito completed an MFA in Sculpture at Kyoto City University of Arts and an exchange program at the Royal College of Art in London. Her practice centers on creating moments in which what had been absent manifests as sensation.
She later established a company and developed multiple foundations across management, digital media, and sales. Today, she positions her artistic practice itself as an ongoing enterprise, continuing to produce and present new work.
